Academics heading click on the other academics drop down and select Grades to bring up the Grades page
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACADEMIC STANDING
Students enrolled in Sheridan programs are required to maintain specific
grade point averages in order to continue in the program and graduate. Students
who do not achieve the minimum GPA requirements may be placed on Academic
Probation or asked to withdraw from the college. Academic Standing has many
levels, each with its own implications for your progress toward completion of
your program.
Academic Transcripts
If you require a transcript in
order to apply to another Ontario college or university, transcripts must be
requested through the corresponding service centre: ontariocolleges.ca for college applications and OUAC for university applications. There is no charge for Sheridan students
or graduates. If transcripts are required for other purposes, students may
submit a request online at http://www.sheridaninstitute.ca/Admissions/Academic
Information/Student Information Requests and Updates/Student Transcript
Requests.aspx. Part of the administration charge, paid at the time of your
first year admission to Sheridan, entitles you to your first three official
transcript requests free of charge.

You can view your timetable, providing you have paid your fees, beginning on
Wednesday, August 25 2010 via myStudent Centre. Follow
the steps below to access your timetable:

click the My Weekly Schedule link. Once in this view, it is important to select the "As of Date" (e.g. September 7, 2010 – first week of class) and then *select Go*.
Returning Students – Your Grades Could Impact Your Timetable
Your grades for the previous term and your success in any pre- and co- requisites
impact your academic standing, your timetable and your ability to continue in
the program. The glossary in myStudent Centre will further explain your academic
standing. For all returning students, these academic
standings are reviewed by your faculty during the advisement period that
follows each semester. Your timetable is no longer valid if your academic
standing indicates that you are on Academic Probation - Must See Academic Advisor or in a May Not Continue Status. In both these situations, you are required to
meet with your academic advisor or program coordinator to have your timetable
adjusted.
Withdrawing from Fall Term
If you are a returning student,
but do not intend to return for the Fall term, it is your responsibility to
advise the Office of the Registrar, in writing, by completing a withdrawal
form, available from any location of the Office of the Registrar. This will
ensure a refund is processed, providing you have already paid for the Fall term, and if you officially withdraw, in writing,
before the tenth day of class (September 20, 2010). Students who do not officially
withdraw by the deadline noted will not be eligible for a refund and their
academic record could be negatively affected. Please see the staff in the
Registrar's Office or the Student Advisement Centre for assistance.

Please pay your fees
Considering paying your tuition fee late? Be aware and informed of all of the implications of that decision: Failure to pay your tuition fee on time WILL result in a late fee being charged.
Furthermore, your enrolment in the planned and scheduled courses may also be impacted as space may no longer be available in all of the required courses. (After the fee payment deadline has passed, your seat is no longer reserved in all of your classes. Enrolment will be opened up to other full and part time students who are picking up missed or failed courses to satisfy their program requirements to graduate.)
If, as a result of your late fee payment, you are not enrolled in all of your course, but are still considered registered in a ft course load, you will not be issued a refund of tuition and you will be required to pick up these courses at a later term at an additional cost to you. These courses are a requirement of your program for graduation and, in some cases, may only be offered in specific terms, making enrolment in these courses difficult.
There could be further impacts to your progress in the program especially if the course missed is a pre or co requisite for a future course term enrolment. To avoid additional costs and complexity, please arrange to pay your fees by the deadlines.
